This post is all about our favorite dining spots in Ibiza. While it may not be car-related, you will need one to reach these gems. These are our top five picks, and we encourage you to agree, disagree, or even share your own favorites. We may have lived here for a while, but we haven’t tried every amazing restaurant or bar. These are simply the places we keep returning to. If you’re curious, keep reading. If you’re feeling a bit stalkerish, we might just see you there!

Nassau Beach Club – Beachside Glamour with a Side of Soul

While I said there’s no particular order, Nassau Beach Club is always at the top of our list. This venue embodies everything wonderful about Ibiza. If you want to experience the essence of the island, Nassau is the place to go. It offers a complete experience filled with joy, excitement, and fun. Enjoy live music, talented dancers, and a relaxing beachside atmosphere. You can even indulge in a massage while you’re there. The club has showers for a quick clean-up before dining, and a magician entertains guests at their tables. It truly has it all!

Nassau Beach Club radiates positive vibes and captures the spirit of Ibiza. With great food and drinks, it’s no wonder we spend so much time there. We recommend it to everyone and take our friends along. There’s nothing quite like enjoying a cold bottle of white wine and oysters while watching the world go by. The teenagers love the burgers, and the sushi platters are simply outstanding. In fact, I’d argue it’s the best sushi we’ve had on the island. We always order a large platter just to take some home. It’s that good! Check out their Instagram to see what we mean, or follow ours to catch glimpses of our visits!

So, stop searching for the “best beach club in Ibiza.” I’ve already answered that for you.

C'as Pagès Ibiza – Rustic Charm and Authentic Flavours

Looking for the best meat restaurant in Ibiza? Look no further! If you’re a fan of food shows, you may have seen C’as Pagès featured on James Martin’s Mediterranean. It’s a family-run restaurant serving honest Ibizan food.

Let’s be clear: if you have a vegetarian or vegan in your group, they might not find much to eat here. This is a meat lover’s paradise. If you’re craving fish, you’re in the wrong place. It’s all about the meat here, and in our humble opinion, it’s the best on the island.

Every dish is exceptional. The menu features traditional grilled meats, hearty stews, and their legendary Arroz de Matanza and Sofrit Pagès. This simple, authentic food keeps us coming back for more.

We’ve tried everything from Sofrit to various steaks and Sobrasada. I always order a big plate of Sobrasada and feel a little sad when it’s gone. Even the plain chicken is anything but plain. Nothing disappoints from start to finish. We’ve even driven there just to pick up a jar of alioli for the kids, who claim it’s the best on the island.

The atmosphere is fantastic. In summer, you can sit outside in the spacious area, which is lively yet relaxing. The kids love watching the chickens in the garden and playing with the kittens. In winter, the cozy interior with a blazing fire is inviting. You can take your time here, enjoying your meal without feeling rushed.

A few tips: arrive when the restaurant opens to secure a good spot. C’as Pagès is popular for a reason, and it gets busy year-round. You can’t book a table, so just show up. And remember, it’s cash only! C’AS PAGES IS CASH ONLY! Don’t let a lack of cash ruin your meal!

After indulging in grilled meat heaven, where to next? Time to hit the beach!

Nami – Steak & Sushi in Cala Llonga

Enjoy a relaxing lunch at NAMI, Cala Llonga, Ibiza

Nami is everything you want in a beachside restaurant. It’s right by the beach with no road in between, ensuring a peaceful dining experience. This sister restaurant of Regina (also in Cala Llonga) has a laid-back vibe perfect for families. Parents can relax while kids play on the beach or at the nearby park.

Now, let’s talk about the food. It’s absolutely amazing! I’ve never had a dish that disappointed. While I claimed Nassau has the best sushi, Nami’s sushi is a very close second. It’s a tough choice!

We’ve enjoyed steaks, sushi, lamb cutlets, fish, salads, and every dish has been beautifully presented and delicious. Even the desserts and drinks are spot on.

What we love most? You can take your time here. There’s no rush, and you can enjoy your meal without feeling pressured. It’s a great place for families to unwind.

I realize I haven’t written much about Nami, but honestly, what more do you need to know? Every single aspect is on point. The staff are friendly, the space is beautiful, the location is unbeatable, and the food? Faultless. If you have a bad experience at Nami, the issue isn’t with the restaurant; it’s with you.

Bar Anita’s – San Carlos

Bar Anita's, San Carlos, Ibiza
Don't be fooled by the quaint entrance, it is cavernous inside!

Bar Anita’s is a must-visit institution in Ibiza. If you’re seeking plush comfort and fine dining, this isn’t the place for you. Think rustic charm with wooden tables and slightly uncomfortable chairs. But that’s the appeal. You come here for the vibe.

Anita’s gets busy on weekends, buzzing with energy. With hours from 7:30 AM to 1:00 AM, there’s plenty of time to enjoy. Be prepared for a casual experience; if it’s crowded, order drinks at the bar and let them know you want a table. Enjoy a cold drink while you wait; it’s all part of the fun!

The food is solid and varied—nothing too fancy, but that’s not the focus here. This is where you meet friends, catch up with old ones, and enjoy rustic tapas and homemade drinks. Their house-made limoncello is dangerously drinkable, and the strawberry liqueur is divine. I haven’t tried the hierbas yet, but after a century of making it, I’m sure it’s good!

Bar Anita’s is located in San Carlos, opposite the village church. Ignore negative reviews about “hipsters” and other nonsense. It’s a mix of locals, regulars, and the occasional tourist. If you’re a down-to-earth person, you’ll love it.

Now that you’ve experienced local life at Anita’s, it’s time to venture deeper into the Ibizan countryside to discover where the locals really love to eat.

Pou des Lleó – Authentic Ibizan Food & Famous Paella

Restaurante Pou des Lleó, Ibiza
Restaurante Pou des Lleó, Ibiza

Confession time: I hesitated to include this restaurant. Why? Because I don’t want too many people to know about it. But I’ve decided to share it anyway because it’s too good to keep a secret.

If you ask locals in Santa Eulalia where they eat, most will mention Restaurante Pou des Lleó. That’s all the recommendation you need.

This family-run restaurant is open year-round and is nestled in the countryside above Cala Pou des Lleó. It serves typical Ibizan fare, including Bullit De Peix, Sopa de Marisco, Salmorejo, and, of course, Paella. Their golden, fragrant paella is a dish people return for time and again. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of paella, but their arroz a la banda is a must-try. It’s a rice dish cooked in rich fish stock with delicious, crusty edges.

The atmosphere is as delightful as the food—relaxed, friendly, and authentically Ibizan. It’s not fancy; it’s just a place where great cooking and local tradition shine. Expect it to be busy, especially on weekends when locals flock here. Arriving early allows you to enjoy a drink at their beach bar before your meal.

You’ll need a car to reach this hidden gem, but that’s part of its charm. Pou des Lleó is also a hostal, so if you fall in love with the place, you can stay overnight. You can even eat at the beach bar, which offers snacks, burgers, and grilled fish. It’s a small menu, but it’s a lovely spot. Make a day of it: arrive in the morning, sunbathe, enjoy cocktails and snacks, then head to the restaurant for dinner later. You’re welcome!
